The Person... Matt McCoy is "IT" says Linking Ring column writer Dakota Rose. Matt is a young magician quickly becoming known for his alluring and original brand of magic. This act was like no other, it features tiny umbrellas appearing and popping out of thin air, silks that unfold and multiply in the blink of an eye, a touch of emotion and humor, and ends with an explosion of confetti. Magic Convention reviewer Tim Quinlan said this about Matt's act," he clearly has the drive to learn and practice some of the toughest pieces in our business(magic) and we're confident he will mature into a formidable act on the pro-circuit." He then was asked to come back two years later to the same convention to be featured in the Saturday night headliners show. |
